terms of service · effective July 6, 2026

The agreement, in plain language.

These terms govern your use of Bubblio. They are deliberately short and written to be read — the plain language is the binding agreement. Using Bubblio, or requesting access to it, means you accept them.

What Bubblio is (and that it's a beta)

Bubblio is an embeddable AI support character — live video with graceful step-down to text chat — that answers from your own content and calls tools you define on your own server. It is in private beta: accounts require approval, features evolve, and the service is provided as-is, without an uptime guarantee. We build for graceful degradation (provider failover, chat fallback) rather than promises we can't measure — our status page shows what's live right now, measured from your own browser.

Your account and keys

Give us accurate signup information and keep your API keys and webhook secrets secret — activity under your keys is yours. Tell us at bubblio@andresio.com if you believe a key leaked and we'll help you rotate it.

Acceptable use

Embed Bubblio only on sites you control. Don't use it to deceive, harass, or break the law; don't route regulated data through it that it isn't built for (it is a support tool, not a medical, legal, or financial adviser); don't probe, overload, resell, or reverse-engineer the service. Rate limits exist and are enforced.

Your content stays yours

Your site pages, uploaded PDFs, personalities, and tool definitions are yours. You grant us just enough license to run the service with them — index, embed, and process them to answer your visitors. Knowledge indexing is opt-in: we crawl a site only after you add it, honoring robots.txt, public pages only. You are responsible for having the rights to content you add, and for your own privacy disclosures to your visitors.

Your tools run on your server

Tool calls execute against endpoints you define, signed so you can verify they came from us. What your endpoints do is your responsibility — our dangerous-action guards are a seatbelt, not a driver.

Billing: prepaid, never overage

Video minutes are sold as prepaid packs through Stripe, consumed minute-by-minute as your visitors use video. Approved accounts start with free minutes to test. There is no subscription and no auto-renewing contract; packs are one-time purchases you make when you choose. When minutes run out, the bubble steps down to text chat — we never bill you for going over. Current prices are on the pricing section; changes never reprice minutes you already bought. If something went wrong with a purchase, email us and we'll make it right.

AI answers, honestly framed

Answers are AI-generated and can be wrong. Bubblio grounds them in your content, shows its sources, counts only measured outcomes in its receipts, and hands conversations to your human team when asked — but responsibility for your customer support remains with you. Nothing the bubble says is advice from us.

Ending things

You can stop using Bubblio at any time and email us to delete your account and data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms or abuse the service — with notice when practical, immediately when necessary to protect the service or other customers. Unused free-grant minutes lapse at termination; for anything you paid for, see the line above: email us and we'll make it right.

The legal floor

To the maximum extent permitted by law: the service is provided “as is” without warranties, and our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to it. Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes and contact

When these terms change, the date above changes with them, and material changes are emailed to customers before they take effect. Questions, notices, disputes — start at bubblio@andresio.com. A human reads it.
